    Bridger Aerospace is a rapidly growing 135 Air Carrier based in Bozeman, MT. We specialize in Aerial Fire Fighting, focusing on Air Attack. This position entails flying in support of the USFS Aerial Firefighting effort. The mission is primarily but not restricted to summer months (approximately June through October). Pilots will be assigned to aircraft and fire bases as requested by the USFS, locations are dynamic and frequent. Candidates will not be required to relocate if they choose to work seasonal, and may live where they choose. If candidate chooses to be full time, they must be willing to relocate to Bozeman, Montana. During heavy fire seasons, pilots can be expected to work through the summer.     • Operates Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner.
    • Completes pre-flight before every flight verifying the aircraft is in an airworthy condition by sign off of Daily Flight Log. Pilots will perform a complete walk around of the aircraft prior to entering the cockpit for flight and upon completion of each flight.
    • Final authority with regard to operations of aircraft and for the safety of passengers, cargo and equipment.
    • Must be thoroughly familiar with all aircraft and medical systems of backup aircraft utilized at operational area and also ensures that the medical flight team is familiar and comfortable with the medical interior and systems.
    • Responsible for completion of required documentation.
    • Able to conduct detailed flight planning with little notice to exacting standards.

    Functions as the AH-64E Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) under the direction of the Aviation manager. The MTP shall be responsible for performing Maintenance Test Flights (MTF), and Maintenance Operational Checks (MOC), conducting in-flight troubleshooting and verifications of aircraft to ensure airworthiness upon completion of extensive disassembly for maintenance, repair, replacement or modification of components or aircraft systems. nbsp;Flights typically associated with this position include determining the availability of required aircraft power, assessing power plant health and performance, and verifying the functioning of aircraft components and systems in accordance with applicable aircraft technical publications and predetermined requirements. The MTP shall perform general or limited test flights of aircraft when ground diagnostic tests cannot determine the safe and/or proper functioning of aircraft components or systems. The MTP shall conduct aircraft general and pre-flight readiness inspections. nbsp;The MTP shall successfully start, run-up, fly, navigate and safely land aircraft IAW applicable aircraft operators manual. nbsp;The MTP shall correctly complete all required aircraft maintenance forms, records, and aircraft log books entries. nbsp;The MTP shall perform mathematical calculations, performance data, and landing configurations of the type series. The analyst performs all logistical operations to maintain the required spares and equipment for the computer systems and hardware for the flight device. Formulates customer program requirements from consideration of equipment design and other data and recommends appropriate program activities from conceptual stage throughout life cycle of product. Directs the development and implementation of program activities. Coordinates efforts of contractors, customer organizations and others for the resolution of problems and to ensure compliance with contractual commitments. Directs the preparation of handbooks, bulletins and information systems to provide logistic support. Remains current on the latest government and industry directives and standards that impact logistic support procedures. Provides technical support in conducting logistics support analysis, level of repair analysis, logistic trade-off studies and scheduling of required integrated logistic support events. The support analyst shall prepare a SFTS device for training; support SFTS device training activities; and technical support for the SFTS device before, during, and after training as well as for movement. The UH-72A SFTS shall be able to achieve a 90% Operational Availability rate for an expected yearly scheduled mission time of up to 2000 hrs. The log analyst will travel to each regional site supported by the Host state location up to twice a year.
