    Our ideal dual rated Pilot candidate will increase our success by:

    • Ensuring that all flight planning requirements have been met;
    • Ensuring that the aircraft is airworthy, duly registered and that the documentation specified in section 3.1.2 are on board the aircraft.
    • Ensuring that aircraft crew members have valid licenses, medical certificates and passports and visas if and when required
    • Completing an aircraft pre-flight inspection before each departure
    • Briefing the passengers in accordance with the requirements specified in section 4.18;
    • Operating the aircraft in accordance with operator procedures and aircraft limitations;
    • Ensuring compliance with customs, immigration and cabotage laws;
    • Notifying authorities of any accident, suspected communicable disease, acts of unlawful interference, or landing at an airport other than a State#8217;s international airport caused by circumstances beyond the control of the PIC;
    • Completing the journey log book or general declaration, when required;
    • Completing all post flight duties, including notification to the company of any deviation from the planned itinerary or overnight location; and
    • Recording flight times and aircraft defects.
    • Support the SMS program.
    • Ensures flight is conducted in the safest manner possible.
    • Contact control towers for takeoff clearances, arrival instructions, and other information, using radio equipment.
    • Excellent communication with the Captain about flight excursions.
    • Operating the aircraft safely and economically to maximize on its ability and ensure the company spends minimally for every trip.
    • Analyzing the flight plan, including the route and flying altitude, to ensure it accurately reflects the expected circumstances of the flight.
    • Determines flight routes, speed, and take-off and landing times to fulfill scheduling requirements. Must stay current with federal and local flight regulations.
    • Possesses a commercial helicopter and fixed wing pilot certificate and requires 3,000 hours of helicopter and 3000 hours of fixed wing flying time.
    • Obtain and review data such as load weights, fuel supplies, weather conditions, and flight schedules to determine flight plans and identify needed changes.
    • Maintains written and computerized flight logs and aircraft and pilot records to comply with FAA regulations and other federal guidelines
    • Use instrumentation to pilot aircraft when visibility is poor.
    • Check baggage or cargo to ensure that it has been loaded correctly.
    • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot or Director of Aviation.

    The primary responsibility of this position will be to perform tour flights of beautiful Myrtle Beach in Robinson R44 helicopters.
